From here to there, from there to here

My sister is gone, the house is a total mess, and my mom is coming back on Thursday. This is good and this is bad. So I need to pull a Mission Impossible Plan and get the place back in order. That is the yard, the kitchen etc etc etc.

Here are some of the many things that I have done this week that I think deserved to be blogged.

- I got drenched in a rainstorm, wearing my REI rain jacket I was well prepared. But my sneakers were not. I think I ll be buying a new pair soon. Thank goodness for crocs.

- I got my first ever rock climbing shoes, my very own. I am HAPPY!

- DC and rockville are supposidly huge areas. Well get this, I am at job one and a lady is like hey you work at that place that sells paper. I am like yeah, that was me. I m thinkinig, ok this is random. After that I went to the place that sells paper to work, and a lady and her son go through my line and apparently they had met me at the place that makes plastic. Totally random !

- I am actually saving money, and its working. Im getting there! The temptation of buying things at REI are sooooo hard. I want the bike, I want the kayak, and i want this and that.

- At the place that sells paper, alot of nice things happened ALL in one day
* I made a costumer really happy by giving her my copy of A thousand splendid suns, she came back and told me how happy she was.
* A kid brought a tintin comic book, she was nine. But hey, tintin rules. Especially if you are nine or 109.
* someone brought mysteries of the unexplained, and was interested in hearing about my research paper I wrote as a young college student, which was based on mysteries of the unexplained.

-I found a rather inspiring quote by no other than dr. Seuss.

- I watched Rocky Balboa, I thought it would be good but now I am voting againts the production of sequels. There are just wrong.. let me illustrate: back to the future 4, Jaws 4, Karate kid 4, Free Willy 4, rush hour 3 etc.


- I have to be at work at eight thirty tmr morning, what am I doing up ? gotta catch some ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
