Yep, I worked on harry potter night. I got the greatest task of them all. Taking the Potter books out of the box and distributing them. Fun stuff ! At the end of the chaos, I was at info and had to answer phones at two am. One caller tried to bribe me into buying her a Potter book because the store was closed. She offered me a disclosed sum of money. I dont think I am going to reveal whether I took the bribe or not. Either way, it was funny that someone would actually ask me that.
I m glad the weekend is finally over, its my day off and I am going to finish the potter book and find out what happens.

Other matters the store that sells paper called me and informed me that I won the jellybean count. I dont think I can eat 1,078 Jelly beans so I called them back and said to give my Jellybeans to the runner up. I would feel better if I knew someone else was out there that got a peice of the harry potter mania history as well. i got my dosage.

Back to reading potter.

From the east coast to the west coast and back

Its been a crazy two weeks. Just a week ago I went to my friend's zaki's wedding. Everything was great, the food, the dancing, the music even my friend Sarah who went with me.

In addition I was really glad I went, I had not seen zaki in like fifteen years. I think I am begning to relize how time flies. It was only fifteen years ago that I lived in Jordan and was in high school. now I ve graduated and trying to find a great job.

In addition to seeing Zaki, I saw suzzanne who I had not seen either in ten years. We were able to catch up on old times, which was great too.

Another great part of the trip was being able to give advice to this kid I know named keith. Well he isnt a kid but he is about to be a college freshman. I am reminded of the words of my sister who once told me while I was in college that she wished she was still in college. Now I was saying this to kieth. By the way, those who dont know this kid. He has charge syndrome, but like me that hasnt stopped him from going out there and finding a college to go to. This kid wants to get a phd. Now thats impressive.


With the trip ending, I am back in DC where I am continuing to work at the place that sells plastic and the other place that sells paper. The basement is being rented out by some cool people and it looks like I have the whole tow floors to my self. I think I should plan a party. Anyone interested ?
